We give it to the head honchos leading the film industry

Updated: Nov 30, 2021

As fun as it was making a movie with the Temple's Directing and Producing crew, we somewhat underestimated how hard it would be to create a film. Upon agreement to receiving the script we did, the crew of producers knew that we wanted to make this filming process as simple as possible for us. Not to say we wanted to take the easy road, but why think harder when you can think smarter? We didn't want to make huge changes to the characters, the story development, or even very much of the narrative itself, however sprucing up the finer details to create a more in depth story was required to create a successful movie. What our team came to realize was the fact any changes would be much harder than expecting. From filming, to scouting locations, to gathering a cast, to finding the best angles, to even ensuring we are happy with what we are brining to life. Every aspect was a challenge, and some were more difficult to hurdle over than others. The Choices crew had a backup plan for every idea we decided to take head on. For example, on Day three of filming scene 3, the crew initially planned on filming in one particular spot and had to last minute change to a crew members house. Did we struggle with space? Yes. Did we struggle with execution? Absolutely. But the bond between the crew, and the motivation of our admirable and idolized Hollywood producer and directors, we managed to create something that is visually compelling and even in disguise of a engaged couple's home. What was a scene scheduled to be in an office like space was actually a lounge room fully equipped with the coolest anime artwork and videos. The Choices crew found greatness in all of our strengths like encouragement, goofiness, quick-thinking, and most importantly drive. Our vastly different schedules still created a film we are proud of, and we offer praise to those that make this creativity and art style into a career!
